Just some concept art of the puppet without his mask, I always imagined he could use those broken strings of his as tentacles of some kind. He IS part--erh, mostly demon after all~Related content

Very similar to my theories. I just think he would have black, smoky fire surrounding his head as soon as he takes off his mask. Luckily it doesn't burn stuff up like normal fire.

Of course, that makes sense. I always like to draw him with a mask that can express emotions. Just imagine Emil's Reverse Puppet! And here's a fun fact about my art style. If I want brow-less characters to express optical emotion, like Vixey/Mangle, Bonnie, and Puppet, I draw their "eyebrows" as simple lines.

Yeah, but in the mini-games, you see him disperse with the rest of the possessed. I always liked the thought of the children accidentally making a deal with a demon(marionette) for life and revenge, but everything points that he's a child too that happened to be able to bring them back from the dead.

Not really, at all actually. He's black, but that's about it. They have eyes with pupils, they glow, they teleport, they are shown in most fanworks to have feet (since there's no feet on any of the actual characters due to the design).
