Dipper awakens the next day to find himself in a hospital bed, still uber buff but with a surgical scar on his stomach.
Somebody didn't like the idea of him not looking like a super model 24/7, so used her incredible wealth and influence to have the medal out somewhere Mabel could never get to it.
Suddenly he realises their are downsides to being so attractive.
