Inspired by an old wallpaper that circulated online for years, this piece was vectorized by hand in Illustrator and colorized in Photoshop. May it live on forever more.
On the internet during the 2000s there was this particular phoenix wallpaper that circulated everywhere. It was instantly recognizable, but nobody knew what it was or where it came from. Since it was passed around so much, each image had more and more JPEG compression and they all started to lose detail. I used the image as reference and practiced the pen tool in Illustrator for a class. This is the final result.

Nah you can use it. It's kinda funny you ask because the original jpeg it's inspired by is notorious for being used as everyone's profile picture ever.
