I've been stuck in Florida all summer with nothing better to do than give myself lung cancer and get fiberglass and gold paint all over everything I own 8D
So in early June I found out Gen Urobuchi, the writer of Fate/Zero, was going to be at Otakon. CUE MASSIVE FANGIRLING. All plans to quit cosplay and sulk about everything forever derailed into awesome armor I can wear to go get his autograph, awwwww yeah.
Otakon rolls around. Massive amounts of time are wasted getting into armor and getting judged for the hall costume contest. Ran into my my friend in the dealer's room, go to AniPlex booth, get Command Seals stamped, take pictures, happy times. Run back to hotel room to unequip armor so I can cool down before masquerade walk-on.
And then the next day, same friend shows me pictures of a bunch of Fate/Zero cosplayers getting their picture taken with Gen Urobuchi right in that exact spot about an hour after I left. FFFFFFFF----
I have the worst timing.
