Description
Naitoger's Robo, which I'm calling Daijunishijin (Great Constellation God) for now, first seen in the sketch here [link] It was strongly influenced by Zyuranger's Daizyujin (which its name references) as well as the Ohranger robo and a hint of the Gaoking.

It has been a gigantic challenge to use similar animals as previous sentai robos, since I'm sticking to my constellation theme and also trying to homage what's come before, without exactly repeating what's gone before. I think the configuration I've come up with here is a healthy mid-ground.

It's a combination of the five mecha:
Red Lion
Green Bull
Blue Serpent
Yellow Ram
Pink Phoenix

The lion's front legs fold out to the side to form the arms, allowing the rear legs to fold up and telescope forward. The lion's head rotates 90 degrees forward, it's jaw dropping to reveal the face. The bull's lower legs fold up into the thighs and the rear quarters slide forward into the front section, and legs link up to form the lower torso and thighs. The serpent's neck folds back into its back, and lower legs fold up into their upper sections as the tail detaches. The ram's head folds downward into its chest and its legs fold up inside of themselves. The phoenix's wings fold up inside the body and the head twists around 180 degrees and folds down into its back to form the chest plate. The phoenix's side tail pieces slip around the sides of the bull head to form a sort of leg guard.

The phoenix's center tail piece detaches, unfolds, and attaches with the serpent's tail, which is actually a sheath for the mecha's sword. I did away with the concept of part of the lion's back becoming a shield, but I may revive that for the final design. (And, to be honest, even here it's not impossible that either the upper back where the sword is mounted, or the lower back which becomes a sword of rear leg guard for the robo, could detach and act as a shield.

The final design of this one is of course contingent on me finalizing the design of the sixth, seventh, and eighth mecha designs...
