Description
Dreamcatcher #14.Best summed up as
The thread is much more purple than it looks in the pictures. Those funky-shaped violet beads on the pendants came in a random-assortment-of-beads package that I totally bought just for those violet ones. Bead addiction. It's real.
Time spent: 13.25 hours, 6 of which were wrapping the frame. My usual synthetic suede cord was too large to thread between the web strands. I wanted white and the only option I had that was thin enough was embroidery floss.
Tools & Materials: 3" metal hoop; purple thread; white embroidery floss; white and purple seed beads; 3 round multicoloured beads; 2 violet trilobal beads; 1 round purple bead; 2 faceted violet beads; 10 white cat's-eye beads; 2 faceted blue-violet beads; 3 feathers; scissors; beading needles; superglue.

Whoa. I forgot all about dreamcatchers - used to make them as a kid. This one is breathtaking. I love the colors you chose and the whole shape of it with the feathers and three-pointed beads.

I made a few of them when I was a kid too, and then forgot about them completely for many years. Then I jumped back in with both arms flailing and started churning out stuff like this.

I love dream catchers, but I've never seen one like this! I love the use of beads in the net.

I love using beads in the web. I think there's only one in my gallery so far without any in it.
Thanks for the
