Description
A new rendition of the TrebleFlake . It's been just over a year since I got back into making paper snowflakes, and it was started off by the original TrebleFlake. I've improved my technique quite a bit since then, and decided to redo it.Time spent: Didn't remember to keep track this time, so I'm not sure. Around an hour.
Tools & Materials: Clickie! . No nail scissors used this time.

Oh yeah, improvement by leaps and bounds for sure. Proper craft knife vs. nail scissors makes a huge difference in quality too.

I saw them all... I just didn't have time to comment on them all. They're all wonderful! I definitely like this treble snowflake better than the first, though.

Yeah, it's crap. It was the first one I made, and I did it with nail scissors instead of a utility knife. This one's much better.

Greate!fav I have two questions: do you fold paper before cuting? Don't you? What do you use to cut paper? scissors, razor or something different?

Yes, it's folded. Then I sketch out the pattern. This one was cut using a Veritas carving knife. The original TrebleFlake was cut using nail scissors. All the stuff I use to make my snowflakes is pictured here

I love all your flakes! It's amazing how well-known shapes like this can make such beautiful designs when put together like this.

Ooooooh, this one's really cool! So delicate! It must be hard to cut out all of the details without damaging them...

This one was actually very easy. Especially using a knife instead of scissors. (The original TrebleFlake was done with nail scissors.)
