I loved the film. Great performances, awesome action, and a good story.
I made this in-between jobs(waiting for approval or finishing file sending) and as relaxation while I was sick. I still feel weak, but bills need to be paid, and I think I'm well enough to work again. :/The movie was a great sendoff for Hugh Jackman. Me and the wife saw it twice weeks ago.
I chose emphasizing emotion over accuracy with this one, as the scene was set up differently. I don't have the luxury of having building the characters over a couple hours worth of interaction, so I modified the scene to invoke as much of an emotional connection as I could using a single frame.

Just saw it the other day. Quite somber feeling throughout while still being epic and having its funny moments...then THIS scene came up. I was tearing up when he was cut loose by Laura. Got a it more teary eyedΒ at "Don't be what they made you to be." And let it ALL go when she whispered, "...daddy..." Such an epic conclusion to Hugh's role as Wolverine. Others might take up this role, but Hugh will always be Wolverine in my eyes.Β

Most beautiful piece of work I've ever seen! I've been waiting for someone for a long time now to make a perfect picture of this scene and you've really captured it well! I love the detail in the wood sticking out of Logan, and the trees in the background. I also really love how you managed to capture Dafne's expression during the scene and put it into this picture. Such breathtaking work. I can hear Laura's soft cries, and the sad score from Logan just by looking at this. It feels like I'm right in the middle of the movie scene! Fantastic!
