Awesome picture. Just curious, Im just learning about HDR, what kind of camera do you have, and what settings did you use to take the pictures? Also, after merging to HDR, what adjustments did you make? Levels? Saturation?

At the time I was using a Nikon D100 on program mode. I used a filter called LucisArt to bring out the detail. Levels, Curves, Warming Photo Filter, Saturation. The original had a plain looking sky, I thought by making it dark it would go better with the subject.

the colors in this shot are really really cool. and you got a lot of good textures in this shot too (the sand pile, the wood, and the trees). wonderfully composed~

I don't know what it is about things in the skeletal stage- either taken during construction or during decomposition - that brings such drama and loneliness against the sky. You captured that well in this picture. The sparsity of tones adds to the effect here. Great picture.
