Location: Kebler Pass - Crested Butte, ColoradoEquipment: Canon EOS 1DsMII | 28-200mm | Calumet Polarizer | Singh Ray ND-3G-SS | Cable Release
8 hour drive to see one of the world's best places to view golden aspens in the fall. Colorado's Kebler Pass complimented by Aspen groves in their Autumn colors during light rain and strong winds.
Unfortunately, the peak of color was during late September, so we didn't get the chance to view the autumn foliage at it's best.
As you can tell from all of this image, it was very cloudy, dark and rainy most of the day.

i lov ehte golden leaves of the trees. the mountains in the background are a dramatic backdrop, and you have photographed this scene well.

I think the small patches of bright colour contrasted against the ghostly, skeletal trees are in some ways more appealing than a carpet of yellow.

There is honestly a LOT to be said about the sheer quality of this shot, your dynamic range ad the sharpness here speaks volumes of a perfect exposure. Nice to see another person who doesn't mind shooting my State! I will give ya a watch, I try to watch as many as I can from this region, and I see you are in NM, another state I love shooting!
