Well, it took me since last november... But I finally finished the thing (with frequent periods of "down time" of course). This is a creature of my boyfriend's creation. He wanted to know what it looked like, and so I drew it how I pictured it. He loved the concept, and so... Here it is. The Labryt Demon. Done completely in pen and ink (save for the block shade of background grey... That's marker) on bristol board.Related content

Just JUST another prove of your talent. This is so well done; the claws, the body, the creature itself, the wings, the tones and shadings, and wow! Only in ink? My hands cannot afford this alone! XD I love the spit effect on his mouth and the position the moster takes; like he was landing from a recent jump or ready to attack. You really capture the feeling here. Beautiful again, hon!

Yeah, I've had a couple of people say that. But I had the original sketch done for this before I even saw Lord of the Rings. So, it's really coincidence (oh, I bet I butchered the spelling on that one.)
