im wondering what fabric you used for the west and how you sewed it?
i'm a cosplay rookie, the only cosplays I did until know where pretty easy( nothing to sew) and i want to cosplay Zatanna for gamescom 2012 (German Convention) , and your cosplay looks so amaaaazing ;w;

i don't remember what fabric i got, sorry! it's actually a halter top vest so i cut out the shape of the front, and the back was just a rectangular panel.

aawww, that's so flattering! honestly though almost everything here is stuff i already had laying around/borrowed from friends xD the only things i made were the yellow vest and the bowtie, the blazer was 5 bucks from the salvation army and the shorts are a pair of dance spanx

I was probably going to be going the same route as you. I was going to be buying a lot of stuff from salvation army/goodwill and altering it. But your costume looks so nice and (with parents of course) non-provoctative that I've decided I want to make one of my own!
