Description
EDIT: resized and borderized for yer viewing pleasure!Series of photo taken on a snowy night here near Montreal.
- A single snowflake is pretty flimsy, barely noticeable. But get them in gang, and they can bend trees (among other things!) BTW that bush on the left isn't on fire, it's the result of the long exposure on the seasonal crhistmas decorations!

Beautiful shot. I can feel the atmosphere of the winter nights in this.
I don't like the cold air during winter time but I do like the dreamy atmosphere the snow brings.
Soon it's gonna be winter here in Finland and I can take first winter shots with my new camera.

Thank you!
Yeah i don't like winter's freezing air either. Especially where i live it's very humid so the cold goes right thru to your bones no matter what coat you're wearing. When i took these pics it was a cold night but very little wind and a light snowfall. The kind of nights i love!

Beleive it or not i haven't touched the colors in that photo, it's really the color it turned out! You see the street lamps where i took this have this golden yellowish hue to them. Combine that light reflecting on all the snowflakes around and you get that golden mist. Check out the other winter wonderland pics, the all have that golden hue!

yes,I believe you
didnt actually think you altered any hues..
understandably the refracting light would be quite incredible..
at least thats how I remember snowy environments..the few times Ive seen them close up
nevertheless..it is a killer shot
I shall indeed check out your other winter pics...

-30c ??? You're nuts !!
Actually this night was very warm. If you look at the puddle in the driveway (lower-right) It's barely frozen. -30c! No way, I don't want to take my gloves off to handle the microscopic buttons on my camera!
I'm a lazy photograph!

Thx, the golden hue comes from the street lamps. they're not *THAT* yellow really but it's the effect of the long exposure. No coloring was added in PS!
