Because if I can't reference Starship when drawing fanart of James and the Giant Peach, then I am the worst Starkid fan ever

Dedicated to because she's been waiting ages for me to draw something like this

Finally got around to rewatching JatGP this weekend... dammit I love this film, AND the book

Left to right:
Glow-worm, Earthworm, Miss Spider, Mr Centipede, Mrs Ladybug/Ladybird (depending on where you're from) and Old-Green-Grasshopper

This was fun to draw (even if it took me a while) and I think I'll draw more soon

Random stuff I felt like mentioning:
I used to be in a gardening club at my school. Everyone else was a boy. I was the only one who'd pick up the earthworms and carry them over to live in the compost bins without freaking out
Despite a very bad case of arachnophobia, Miss Spider was always my favourite as a kid. I'm better with spiders now but still not great
Centipede is my other favourite character. He's funny, lively, a bit of a loony... and when I was in year two I went to a butterfly farm where we got to hold a centipede. The centipede was nice to me but then I passed it over to this guy who used to give me trouble all the way through to high school... and it crapped on him epic win
