SKETCH
-Cry about anatomy and proportions
-Try to keep it loose to capture movement and flow
-Hair gets it own layer because I gotta know what's under it
-Don't worry about detail, that's a problem for later me
LINES
-Time to ruin the sketch!
-"Heck I forgot this detail"
-"Heck this leg actually doesn't work"
-Cry about lost flow, esp in hair
-Usually keep all lines to one layer unless I'm feeling fancy
COLOR
-Stay in those lines!!
-Discovering clipping layers was a godsend
-So many layers!
SHADING
-Shading has way too many steps for one block
-Pick a color and use a multiplying layer on top of the flats
-Bring out those shapes!!
-Adjust opacity
-Light source is somewhat followed, could do a better job at it
-Cry because I don't have patience to cell shade "well" anymore
FINISH
-Blur that shit!
-Apply more soft shadows where needed
-Color the lines (I usually do this before shading now)
-Highlights! Usually use a light yellow on an "Add" layer
-Cry because I didn't color in the lines
