It's genetics, there are vampires in the Fallout game, he met them, never joined them, is a loner making it by day by day as said vampire/cannibal.

He hides it from the other washignton wastelanders(Fallout 3 residence). Hence his goggles and face mask he has around his neck at the moment. He never takes them off when he is helping others or outside scavenging which is his job. If they suspect it's a quick run and never seen again thanks to the stealth skills he has worked on for years. Though he also has a ghoul he saved and unkowingly adopted sooo they usually don't focus on his possible vampire features when he is helping them out.

Thanks, just explaining his situation is all. Adel is sweet in all reality, he was a secret vampire even to himself until he found the family(fallout 3 vampire group). He used to think he was just a human with a disease.
