UPDATE JAN 2018: whelp forgot to do this last year BUT that's okay! This year I had to change up the fonts and stuff bc I couldn't find the original file and couldn't get the new text to match the old lol. Also holy cartoonization! I feel like I used to try real hard to make these self portraits a little more realistic than what I normally draw but I figured FUCK IT I wanna draw myself how i normally draw, which I should! I need to stick to a consistent style (story of my life..) also LOOK AT THE COLORS so much happier with my color choices. Why was I always naked in 2014?? haha Glad to see I'm still always wearing a hoodie. Let's have a good year!

UPDATE SEPT 2016: Another year gone and I'm still surprised a the difference a 365 days can make. Honestly I wasn't sure how different this years was going to look form last, but goodness I'm so much happier with where I am now. I think that happens every year to be honest, hah. But that's a good thing!

UPDATE 2015: whoah dang! that year flew by. I was really curious as to see what kind of improvements I've made since my last self portrait and I can actually say I'm pleased to be fair, I actually "finished" this one and didn't stop at a colored sketch so it already makes the other ones look a lot worse hah.

i always do this little portrait (sometimes more body) when i haven't drawn myself in a while to see where my style's gone since the last time I did. I can honestly say I like where I am with my style at this point in my life. Still changing, but i'm finally out of a rut about not liking my work. Woo self confidence!
