"I don't WANT to kill, mother!" Kovu pleaded with Zira, "I CAN'T kill!" Tears started to well up in his eyes."Your one and only destiny is to kill Simba and take your rightful place as king, like Scar. He hand chose you, son!"
"Well, maybe I don't WANT to rule! Not like this!" He could hold it in no longer. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
"Are you crying?! CRYING SHOWS WEAKNESS!" Zira roared. With one swift, powerful swing of her paw, Kovu went flying across the dead ground.
She looked at him with disgust.
"There can be NO weakness. /Weakness/ is NOT an option." She said sternly.
Kovu lay there in defeat, huddling, waiting for the next blow...

Aww, poor Kovu.
The little story just makes me want to take him away from the Outlands and give him a proper home where he will be treated like a child should be treated.

poor kovu. a child alone in the world with parents that abuse you...oy well scar turned out just like his father on that one =.=' and zira is just as crazy as scar maybe more so...oy...>< good story and picture ^^ just wondering do you have a tutorial on how you draw your lion king style per chance? i want to learn to draw them like this ^^ im just starting out so im not that good, i only have ms paint right now but i heard you can do good lookin art on that paint program just as well XD so im wanting to give it a shot!

and as for a tutorial, I'm sure I could whip something up... In all honesty though, in order to get good (and you'll hear this from everyone else too) you need practice. I've been drawing TLK for a little over a year and i was very frustrated when I couldn't do it at first (seriously, see some of my first pictures xD they make me laugh now)
you'll be great in time ^^ i can't wait to see some of your stuff

cool ^^ and thanks, i have some lion head shots already they arent very good but at least its a start. and one pic of a full lioness walking oh and i created my lion o.c. couple a mated pair on Feral Heats the female is Tika and her mate is Behlu. ^^ i drew them before i created my account on FH so they R original o.c.'s by me lol.
