This picture is a bit depressing .______. I´ve never drawn science-fiction, but I think this one represents very well a depressing feeling.It feels good to draw sometimes things which are not really "beautiful" in the common way.
And yes, the choice of code-numbers has a meaning, although a very silly one...

Looks fantastic! I love the color combination of black and bright glowing green.
The creature's pose and expression are indeed very sad-looking, but it's still beautiful in a way.

Auf die Gefahr hin, dass du dich totlachen wirst:
X und Y stehen für das unbekannte (und rein aus dem praktischen Grund, dass der Code mit diesen Buchstaben cooler aussieht)
G steht für Glukoce (schließlich hat er ein Glukose-Molekül auf dem Kopf. Und das ist auch das, womit ich mich in letzter Zeit rumschlagen muss)
42 steht für den Sinn des Lebens. Ganz einfach.
Fazit: Die unbekannte Glucose ist der Sinn des Lebens. Gut, jetzt darfst du loslachen
