I think that every attempt to perfection is a form of art, so I support also body modifications like breast augmentations, tongue splitting, lip filling and other plastic surgeries and genetic modifications which, I hope, will be possible soon._____________________________________

I think that being cool with it, or even thinking it's sexy is good, but preferring it... That's kinda like saying 'Oh, you're Korean? Hmm... I prefer white girls. I wish you would bleach your skin before we get together.'

It's all good and well in the mind, but once you have to live with the changes it's not all it's cracked up to be. Things like that should be temporary or removable/replaceable at will and not there all the time.

Ever seen a music video called 'The Gate to the Mind's Eye'? It's very cool, from back in the ye olde days in computer animation when things were much more art-focused and basic.

Thinking about it from the surgeon's point of view, I certainly agree. To be able to sculpt flesh and make it sit a certain way is very similar to all kinds of other sculpture.
I know that I, personally, am impressed when I see a really natural-looking modification or reconstruction.
