Hahahaha. This made me laugh and was an enjoyment to read x3. My favourite part was when Sapphire realised she was runner's up. And like you said "expressions and poses that tell a 'story'." Her face says it all! xD
I hope you create more of these interactions between characters. They're great to read and I think are the best way to show a character. Like your Story Concept 1.

First off, this was pretty funny. Gave me a good snicker.

ikr it surprised me too. I kinda expected Sapphire to win but then throughout the whole thing, she and Chaly were neck-to-neck. Since I barely ever draw Chaly, and Sapphy was taking the spotlight recently, one would assume she'll be more popular. In the end, Chaly won out by 1 point ooooooo so close xD I guess there's just something about changelings ;3
