Btw, just an interest check - is anyone interested in me posting actual tutorials, like, with explanations what exactly I am doing and why?

I would love to see more tutorials! This piece is rather lovely. The use of the "mint color" is something I wouldn't have thought of. I tend to create my artwork without the sense in the end of how it should look or what colors I could use to make it look nicer or more professional, so it ends up looking rather plain and not dimensional at all.
I have to ask if you get inspiration from nature or photos? I find looking at things sometimes helps me understand what in the end the picture is missing, like tints and lighting/shadow.

Hard to say - I don''t usually take inspiration consciously. It's a subconscious combination of things I've seen before - real life, fashion, photos, other artists works, etc.

Also I have things that I tend to use from work to work - like blue light with vivid red shadows, high contrasts, etc. Also I use photoshop color filters sometimes just to see how it goes.

Actually, for color in particular I highly recommend this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj1FK8…
Helped me a lot a few years ago.
