Description
Because after posting [link] I've had people asking to sell them, but I can't for various reasons including copyright issues and the fact that I really can't be bothered XDSo instead, here's a tutorial so you can make your own IE voodoo doll to stab and maim and hate! Have fun! You can download the pattern here: [link]
This tutorial is very much based on [link] by whose work I adore, so please check out her gallery ^_^
EDIT: If you make an IE voodoo doll please send me a photo cos I'd love to see how they turn out and what people do to them!

Thanks! I tried to make it really simple because I thought my fellow web designers would want to make their own to stab XD

Cool idea. I usually see that stitch called the "whipstitch," for reasons I cannot adequately explain.
I just wish they hadn't taken the FTP capability out of IE.

Ah, IE. What I call the biggest hole in Windows virus protection. (In that IE is the hole, not it has it.)

Hahahaha, nicely done.
"Personally I think that dodgy construction simple enhances the metaphor."

oddly enough that stitch that you don't know what it's called, is called the sewing stitch unless I am seriously mistaken. they aren't always original when naming stitches.

they also have numberous names for the same stitch, so you can't get it horribly wrong. But conveying the idea of that stitch can be hard at times.

That's a mighty fine job you've done on the tute.
and silent7seven's right - if you wanted to make these you wouldn't run into any copyright problems.

I don't think Microsoft owns the letter "e" in the color blue

But they still take me like half an hour to make and I'm bored of them >_> Well making them at least, not hurting them. It's much more fun if everyone makes their own ^_^

^_^ It makes a very good pincushion by the looks of things, I might make one and put it by my sewing cabinet.

I can't really get it thick enough to make a good pincushion really Something more round and puffy would work better, I think.
