Description
So for a project I had to do a sort of re-imagining of a currently existing IP so I decided pick Miraculous Ladybug and created a Ladybug and Butterfly from the past!His name is Daiki and he is a Japanese butterfly from Feudal Japan!
He is Mego's (Past Ladybug) older brother but niether of them are aware who each other are when they wear their masks.
Again the villain is Butterfly (Hawk Moth). I've decided that those who obtain the butterfly miraculous become easily corrupted by the ability to control others and make them into their minions and so that is why more than one person who has obtained the butterfly miraculous become villains.

Definitely one of the best Hawkmoth ancestor designs I have ever seen. The colours, the effects and the butterflies, it all fit perfectly!
I love the Japanese theme costume and the character design...and I wonder if this version of Hawkmoth turned evil because of seemingly reasonable grievances?
Why do I think that way? Because is it me or does your version of Japanese Hawkmoth seem to have a look of melancholy on his face? (you know, like one who is a tragic villain?)

Well out of costume Mego is a shrine maiden. So I was thinking Chat out of costume might be a Priest of sorts. In costume he might have a ronin/samurai look to him. I have not fully decided yet. Chat and Volpina are still in the very early concept stage as I am still finishing up the work for Ladybug and Butterfly in and out of costume ^^
