When taking portraits it's best to have a back drop of a solid color. White, black, gray, tan. I have a white wall with nothing on it for portrats as well as a dark back drop in my basement for photos. When you have your house in the background it distracts from whatever you are doing in the photo.

Thank you for the feedback! I have made  and submitted my first ever GIF ... I think I have at least addressed the background issue and would appreciate your opinion on it.
You have a really strong gallery, look forward to seeing more from you

Thanks, but I'm not a photographer. For better opinions on photo's I'd suggest contacting photographers. They will help a lot more. I'm just an amateur cosplayer.

 I like the variety of opinions, I understand not everyone is into the same thing though
