Description We have snow!
I don't know why I'm so excited and I know it will melt, it's not cold enough here yet for the snow to actually stay... But I'm still very glad and excited for some reason. I feel like a kid, the moment I saw it was snowing I went outside to play with our puppy.

I really wanted to draw something wintry so here's filly!Twilight and baby!Spike admiring the first snowfall and the beginning of their first winter together.
The background came out a bit darker than I would've liked but since this is was done pretty fast, I didn't really have time to start adjusting it. And here in Finland the winter nights really become like this very quick so I guess in the end it's okay, this really looks like what our nights will be like soon.

You're right, it most likely is Twi's first time seeing snow too, at least that's how I imagined it while drawing. I'm sure it snowed before she met Spike too, but maybe she only now really noticed it and actually went outside (I imagine she spent a lot of time inside as a filly, reading books and studying all the time, not even bothering to look out the window) with her new precious friend...

This is absolutely adorable! The scene itself brings back so many wonderful memories for me! Every year on Christmas eve my family will stand on our porch and watch the snow fall in the dark, this reminds me of it so much!!!
