I keep saying that we need more winter MLP episodes. Here's proof, right here, that it will be adorable. Maybe they can even introduce some extra-fluffy Shetland-type ponies with heavy coats, from the North of Equestria. That'd be great.

Hehe, yeah. Winter episodes are great.
In my headcanon earth ponies get much thicker coats during the winter, and they do normally already have ticker coats than the other races. xD Pegasi ponies have their feathers and unicorns come from warmer areas of Equestria, so they never developed winter coats.
Maybe I should draw my versions of the races sometime. People may find them interesting.
