Newbie Artist Training Grounds III - Day 4Apple Bloom finally got her cutie mark! Her special talent is fixing thing, but her cm may give the wrong message. A hammer who is hammering an apple? Eyuup, hammer all the apples! XD What a destiny!

Oh my, someone actually ask me for advice? I don't really know much about pixel art, but I have done some pixel icons before.. Well by the look of it your pixel art is okay, may I sugesst that you try to make some smaller models on the same sized canvas you already use, try to make a pony with full body.Β
Here I'm going to pixelate my drawing in photoshop:Β
1: sta.sh/01nmupf47lr3 Here you see the picture in full and big pixelation, you can clearly see that it is Ab and Aj, but there isn't much detail to it. (cell size 25)
2: Β sta.sh/0pcw4i4qrvc More detail, you can now actually see all their hooves, eyes, cm and Ab's hammer. But it is still lacking something. (Cell size 15)
3: sta.sh/010o3s7w3m0p Now this is what you want it to look like, a bunch of details and you can see their face exspressions. (Cell size 5)
4:Β sta.sh/01dh9xdz28jg Professional, the whole drawing is completely the same, just in pixels, you can see every single detail. (cell size 1)
Try to study these different pixelisations, you have to master bows and circles to make this happen, practice, practice and more prectice!Β
