You know, the wonderbolt logo was his cutie mark in A Canterlot Wedding, so it wasn't really a fan verson, but hey, you never know if he wore a skin over his flank with the wonderbolt logo on. XD Dying, where do I get these ideas from?

It was original but Soarin is actually a tertiary character, so the focus on his CM during that time wasn't important though. But today, it must be different and no exception.

It was kinda wierd that he had the wonderbolt logo before, get your cutie mark, and then it stands right on your flank that you'll be a wonderbolt. A pony get it's cutie mark when s/he realized their destiny, so when old Soarin' realized his, who was to become a wonderbolt, he got his knowing he would one day most possibly be one. Or he got it when he joined, talk about late bloomer. XP
I think the new one is fancier, the old one was kinda, well, boring. Creative is better.

It is funny though SoarinDash is one of the nearest shippings of becomming cannon, it is still fighting with Sparity, but it hasn't been much of Rarity and Sike interactions lately, I don't know if the staff want it cannon or not.
Out of all the shipping (not counting mares) Soarin is the guy we have seen given most character, maybe even more than Shining Armor. And he is the one interacting with Dashie the most out of guys, (after the Best young flyers competition they hung out when Dash won, at the galla she saved his pie, at the wedding they danced together and now he complimented her and they sure had a nice conversation at the hospital, she even stood up for him whe facing the other Wonderbolts.).Β

As for Sparity I kinda see it more as a pet/pony relationship since they're obviously different species and age.
If they make SoarinDash canon (or atleast have them dating eachother) it would be weird that they haven't also shipped the rest of the mane 6, or maybe cuz everyone assumed Dashie was the least likely one to have a coltfriend and they wanted to break that assumption ^^
Indeed he has, was kinda afraid when I heard that he'd get lines in the episode before it aired, that they'd make him an a**hole, but luckily it turned out the other way and he was actually the nicest of the wonderbolts! ^^

But you know, they have already kinda shipped two mane six characters with a stallion or two already, Rarity had Blueblood, Fancypants(kinda) and in a future episode (SPOILERS) she has a crush on a travelling writer, who has a crush on Aj, well Rares you will have to become a country gal. And Twilight had Flash, for a movie, but it still in a way "cannon" even if the movie is a spinoff. So Rarity and Twi are confirmed for being straight already.

Someone even tweeted directly to one of the show staff how pissed he was, and an admin on a FB pony page I was watching said he's leaving the fandom and deleting the page cuz of it O_O WOW Also dun get it, cuz really the pony FS is NOT the FS in the alternative dimension since he never passed thru the mirror, only Twily is the same in both worlds. ^^
I've started to notice that all the episodes I love is the one thats generally not liked, and the ones everyone loves is the one I think is not too bad...*sigh*

But you have to agree, Rainbow was taken a litte bit out of character in the Mare-Do-Well episode, though I still enjoyed it. As well as Spike at your service, Owls well that ends well, Putting your hoof down, Power Ponies, Games ponies play, and surprisingly Three's a crowd. (Why is the majority of the episodes Spike episodes?) (And why is all the reviewers complaining at the new episode?) I don't get it.

I do agree, her ego was a lil stretched but she learned from it. I find what her friends did to her more disturbing, abandoning her all alone, making her question herself. But thats a heated subject, it is ranked the worst episode.
Three's a crowd was not bad, but not fav either, Dash suddenly turned back into S1 Dash (c'mon writers decide!!) and ofcourse the whole fandom takes that and continue their bashing of her. Its sad she's so disliked...
Well, blame overanalysis, it kills all the enjoyment of the show! ^^

Yup, all the analzyers have almost ruined my opinion of the new episodes, they are so damn negative this season, I know the show has changed a little bit, but come on! You can't always have it go the way you want.
Yeah, Dash in the episode did remind me a litte of ''Griffin the brush off'', though I disagree with you on the fandom bashing on her, they don't, at least the majority don't. It was just the Mare do well thing that made people dislike her a bit, later the season she got much better and she maybe the most developed out of the mane six now.
The least liked of the mane six is Aj, but in a way she is also the least disliked, by that I mean that people don't mind her. I assure you I hear far more people complain about Rarity, but thats the Bronies who don't like her girlyness and stuff. Pinkie too, she is annoying for some.Β

Oh? Well you're probably right! AJ has the fewest fans yes, and Dash is probably ranked below Flutters and Rarity and even Twily. Weird cuz I've seen most hate towards Dash than any other, but it might be me who misinterpret what people mean since I'm very defensive of her.

Hehe, me too. I'm also every overprotective, but that is with every character. I like all of them, I guess. But Dash is tha best. I find that many guys is a fan of Rainbow Dash, depending, but also many of Flutteshy, I think it is like Waifu vs ''play pony'' (aka girlfriend type vs sex symbol (i'm sorry!)).
Of course there is many other ways of seeing Rainbow, but, well, girls with her attitude tend to be put in that type of woman category, or mare in this case. Β
It is a little sad tough, two of my best friends has been put in that category, while i'm the Waifu type, or actually i'm both (but stays in my little bubble ~), a Flutterdash comination. XD Anyway they may be loud and outspoken, but they are really kind people, and should not be seen as just play mates, yeah, they are sexually appealing, but it does not mean they are whores.
I think Dash is the same way, one may just realize that that rainbow pony is more of a girlfriend type than one would expect.Β

Yeah pretty much 90-95% of all the girls I know of is like those outgoing get drunk and party every weekend kinda girls that comes across to me as being attention whores and likes to get laid with everyone. Not saying there are not guys who's like that aswell, but thats a much smaller percentage (like 80%), I despite both genders being like that though, find that behavour disgusting...Β
Yeah "tomboys" are really uncommon, only met like *thinks* 4-5 in my entire life, but then of what I perceive, girls are far less likely to want to "stand out" from the crowd than guys, and then again I live in one of the big cities, so I guess out in the country the percentage could be higher, I dunno! ^^Β
Yes I'd totally rather want to be with, like you said a girl who are themselves, not affected by how everyone else is and being loyal, than someone who "follows the crows", goes out a lot, drinks a lot and mingles with lots of people. They seem insecure to me ^^.

Kinda funny because I would also classify myself as more like Fluttershy on the outside and Dashie on the inside, depending on the people I hang out with I let more of the Dash side come out! Also have a LOT of pride in what I do which unfortunately makes me pretty stubborn and not tolerating much criticism unless I beg for it and the one giving it I recognize as a superior ^^
Don't think you should think too much about your confidence levels, atleast you come across to me as pretty confident, even daring telling me, as a (almost) complete stranger, this stuff! ^^ I can definitely sense the Dash in you!

How you act here and now IS who you are, if you weren't yourself you wouldn't hide your whole personality I guess, its like a defence mechanism pretty normal for human beings, by hiding it you don't risk as being seen down on as weird or not accepted by those around, you have a different way of acting around each person/group, hell if I were my slightly goofy self around everyone, they would think I'm a total nutjob! LOL! Only if I know the person or people REALLY well I can be pretty random.
Hehe thats awsome they're accepting! I started to hang around my local bronies round autumn last year and they're an awsome bunch of friends, and we arrange stuff like drawing meetups, "alicorn parties" and brony LAN parties!
Oh! Used to be also be pokemon fanatic (especially in my younger days, G1) but not so much anymore, dunno, less desire for playing videogames I guess, having kinda on/off periods of playing games ^^ Really want to try the newest game though!Β

Yeah here where I live people are more themselves, and you see people's differences easier, I guess. I have heard from one of my friends that when she lived in Sandnes, she HAD to dress nice and wear make up every day there. Nowadays she wears baggy clothing and don't bother about make up and manners.
For a long time I was very self conscious and did not want to stick out, I think it is true that girls don't want to stand out so much, they can be pretty mean to each other if there is something "wrong" with one. If there is one thing ponies taught me, it is that it is okay to be different and just because someone is different doesn't mean that they can't be friends, I literally tried to become like my friends some years ago, but I am no preppy girly girl, and realized that.
Haha, wow! We are pretty alike aren't we? I never could take critisism either, if I am either wrong or right i'm stubborn as a mule, I hate losing. If someone get mad at me I break out to tears, I just can't take it when people get frustrated. So sensitive..
And you know, that confidence wasn't always there, it is just recently I begun to talk more to people and really show who I am. Guess who inspired me to do that? Yup, a clyan cartoon horse with a rainbow mane.

Heh, don't you know it, my sister and brother always complain that I am so annoying and hyperactive, and they are the only ones I have showed that side to, if they only knew the other side of me..
Ah! I wish I could go and have meetups and stuff! The only bronies I know in person are my sister and my second cousin, but it gets kinda boring with just my sister, she is so much quieter than me. Like she is a brony yeah, but she doesn't share that same passion, she is a fan of lot of things like vocaloid, many animes, movies, games, etc.. It is just one of those things for her.
And it seems like noone in my class is a brony either, nobody have tried to reach out, I had a presentation about it after all.
Oh and you should really try the newest pokemon game! The new graphics is really good, with 3d models and all. And being able to customize yourself is really fun too, how long have fans been waiting for this? XD This game is more about gameplay and the experience than the story, i'm more of a fan of the story, but it is still good.
If you ever get the game, we can become friends on the 3ds and have link battles and stuff.
And sorry for late reply, I have been busy doing more imprtant stuff (not really), it is just that these comments takes so long to write. XD I have to get in to zone to write.
