Description
Upon becoming a full-fledged Legionnaire, you are magically branded by a tattoo featuring the symbol of your god parentage, the letters SPQR and vertical lines representing your years of service in the Legion. Welcome to the Fulminata.Edit: You may use these designs on your characters so long as you credit me for the tattoo design and link back to this reference sheet. Thank you.
This shows where on the arm and what format we're following for the Legion tattoos in my old RP Group for Camp Jupiter.
The symbols for Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Mars, Apollo and Bellona were mentioned in the books. All other symbols were created using symbols representing each god/goddess.
Legacies get a mix of their god parents' symbols to show respect to both of them. Here to show off his tattoo is my Primus!
Please note that I made the file super large so that anyone who's interested can download it and copy and paste the design onto their character so long as they delete the white space.

I'm so sorry for the delay! I've been super busy IRL and haven't had a chance to hop on in ages.
This is just the design we were using for an old RP group, but I'd say the Pluto sign with the diagonal key from Trivia.

I'm doing a fanfiction and I was thinking of putting a description of my character's spqr symbol. so if it is a child of Poseidon legacy of artemis what would the symbol look like. I know its not possible but I have a good explanation for it.

Well, this is just a chart that I've made for my RP group, but I'd say that it would be a bow reminiscent of the shape of a crescent moon and a trident so that they make an X of sorts.

What generations were you thinking of? The dominant ancestor (for example, if the character with an 8th gen. Vulcan and a 2nd gen. Ceres, then Ceres is the dominant ancestor) would have the larger of symbols.

Ah, we have a rule that our legacies have a have a few generations between godly ancestors, otherwise they could be too powerful. In the case of my Praetor Primus, for example, his parents are a legacy and a demigod. This is perfectly acceptable. However, having Ceres hook up with a demigod is against our rules. Think of it in the sense of Frank. He's a demigod and his mom is a legacy, but there were multiple generations between Frank and his original Neptune demigod ancestor. If you want your legacy to also be a demigod, you should have quite a few (at least four or five) generations between them and their godly ancestor.

Yes, that is acceptable. As for the symbol, it would look like the Ceres symbol, but replace one of the torches with the hammer of Vulcan.

The lyre of Apollo would be larger and then overlapping it would be the shell and flower from Venus, but much smaller.

I'm gonna make myself a temp Nemesis, Ceres or Trivia one by drawing it on paper with a gel ink pen and putting a wet rug on it for about 30 seconds

Well seeing as Riordan hasn't released official reference art for the SPQR tattoos for his cosplaying and/or adult fans of the books...probably. Though I'd be more likely to consider it if there were symbols for Juno, Vesta and Diana as well, even though they're virginal/non demigod having goddesses...
