This painting captures every old farm I have ever ran across. The rust on the front of the old truck is so realistic. Having the hood open is a nice touch because somewhere on every old farm there is an old truck with the hood up. It implies the owner/farmer just ran into the barn long for a wrench and will be right back to make a fix. Dare I hope that the old building partially covered y the tree is an outhouse?

Thanks for the kind words. I've passed this old farm for many, many years, it's less than a mile from my house and I finally stopped and spoke with the owner this past week and he allowed me to take some photos. The structure partially hidden by the pine tree could definitely be an outhouse! Thanks again for your comments.
