Seeing cats makes me smile, I have a soft spot for them. <3 I love this piece! You've really nailed the semi-realistic style. When I squint my eyes, the cat looks real! Great job! The shading, eyes and lighting are lovely. Those little touches really make the cat stand out. I like the softness you captured with Filou's fur, I don't think I could resist this little guy, I'd love to give him a hug and some pets!! The colors you chose for the cat's eyes and background are perfect. I love that the amber eyes and background pop against the cat's dark fur. There's something about the cat's facial features that makes them look so sweet, innocent and yet very alert. You've really captured the realness of cats while still retaining your own artistic style. I'd imagine drawing animals in a realistic way would be a difficult task for many artists, you'd definitely be the go-to artist for a pet potrait!

A very beautiful depiction of one of the cutest species around. The coloring and level of detail is photorealistic, you can see the pieces of its cute fur and the shading + shadows are smotthly transitioning from light to dark.
The ears seem to be blending too much with the background, like they are very thin or transparent on the tips. Probably needs more sharpness in terms of image quality over there. Also their color seemed to be too light, it seems more brown than it needs to be. They blend with the light brown background.
The eyes, the main weapon of cuteness of a cat in front of its human opponent are spot on. The pupils are at the right size in the yellow-ish eyes, maximizing the cuteness radiated from the little furry creature. Combined with
its muzzle, it makes me want to pet her for eternity as she pis purring while looking at us, beggin for more attention. It looks like is about to let yout a faint "meow", telling us she wants food or attention, ready to start purring like a small motor.
The whiskers are the ones that are letting the image down a bit, they look like they are being brushed on the image at a fast speed. A little attnetion to detail on those pieces pf the cat's sensory system would have not hurt at all. At a distance, they look like they are wet and dripping milk after she licked some off its plate.
Overall, is a really great image, 8/10. Makes me want to go now to my cat ant pet her to eternity as she cuddles near my leg.

A PET PORTRAIT! My favorite!! I seriously love this. Pet portraits are always fun and relaxing to create, but also a total joy to look at and consume. I have no idea who Filou the cat is, but this little bebe is the msot adorable thing! You did a fantastic job of capturing the animal’s beauty, but also capturing her personality. those eyes are so wide and curious. Something’s clearly caught her attention!
Portraits are strange to make. Either they’re very stagnant and classical, or they have energy in their composition. Yours is the latter. You’ve figured out a way to place Filou in the frame that brings life and energy to this particular piece. My eye wanders through the entire illustration, top of bottom, and eats up every detail. That’s hard to accomplish, so good job!! The colors are also phenomenal. The warm yellows and golds are perfect for Filou’s blue coat. I assume it’s intention, but the colors also match her eyes. I love it!
This is truly a work of art. From the composition to the anatomy right down to the painterly strokes of your brush, you’ve done such an excellent job. You should be happy and proud! Cheers, and keep painting!!
