It's been practically forever, but I have FINALLY released chapter ten! I apologize deeply for this, but now I've made it happen and HOPEFULLY the next chapter won't take as long. Well, that's a tricky plot point. Due to the alternate universe of this fanfic, Jo has been uncharacteristically nice at times. However, I can promise you that some of the "old Jo" may resurface at certain points, so that side of her has not been lost. I won't reveal how, but it'll play a role in the plot sometime later.
As for dialogue? I'm trying my best, man. Sometimes I have to admit even writing my dream scenario out can be hard, especially when it comes to what the people say. But I'm glad you find it enjoyable anyways.

I know! Especially when it develops them to show their inner self. Part of that was missing from Jo in TDRI, so I added some! Same with most of the early boots, so I tried my best to show off their personal stories more than the show did.

That's good man. Yeah, I hate the "strong team vs. weak team" dynamic. In TDI, both teams scored some and lost some but both held their ground in the end. It's not like all the other seasons where you have one ridiculously strong team, and one pathetically weak team. Why does every season need a "Killer Grips" scenario in play? It's stupid!
Oh well, anyway, I'm glad you're trying to even things out a bit, that's always been an issue with me and the series as well

That stuff made the winning patterns too predictable. I pitied the Rats after episode 5, since I knew they were going to be decimated. Yet somehow Lightning survived....EVERY. FUCKING. VOTE.
That aside, however, I think we both agree it should be not used for the next season. Though some imbalance is okay at times.

Yeah really! And the fact that Lightning kept surviving added insult to the injury. It's fucking Lightning! Why would ANYONE want to see him get far? Plank from Ed, Edd, and Eddy has more personality than this roughneck asshat, and Plank's not even alive!

I don't want to see that formula appear again. It makes the show look like it's deliberately trying to be predictable, and that's not a good thing.

It sure did add insult. I mean, he was actually a big reason they lost most of the time! Yet others were blamed for it. I guess he was so annoying they wanted someone to root against in the end for the viewers. Sucks anyways! As for Plank? I remember him- he was very very dumb and clueless, BUT....HE had a personality to speak of!

I guess some predictability is okay if it goes somewhere positive and has a meaning. (Like an alliance getting taken out.) However, predictable winning patterns and elimination outcomes are SO awful! I want to see epic surprises when it comes to this stuff, not anything else! Also, spoilers made it suck harder.
I sure was! Why make three teams if one will do that? Maybe they wanted to have certain players guaranteed to make it to a certain point, or something. Like Owen, Heather, and Al! Damn, they suck. But otherwise, it was simply a team designed to contain the first six or so boots. SO BADLY PLANNED OUT!!!!

Yeah, Lightning never did contribute much to his team. For all of his brawn, he didn't have the brains to use it properly. And somehow he kept slipping through the cracks, even though he was always too dumb to live. I'd rather have a conversation with Plank than with this guy. Heck, it one episode, Plank was implied to have been driving through that fake city the Eds put together! 0_0 Dudes, put Plank on the team instead!

Yeah, the predictable winning patterns are one of the show's weaknesses. Why can't we have two teams that are more or less on equal terms? That would be MUCH more engaging!

Never did, no. It's probably pure luck that made him go to the end, staring with Scott's actions- had Scott not fucked everyone over, Lightning would've been gone, like, third or fourth! Imagine how different the season would've been then! Anyways, Plank would've been more fun than him by far. He'd go first, but Plank would've been WAY better nonetheless.
I know! Like the Bass and Gophers from season 1. That, or alternating wins of two or something. Maybe three teams (with slight imbalances) having fairly balanced winning patterns. Anything but total decimation!
I was spoiled on Cameron being a finalist. Then Lightning. I thought it was impossible, but it happened anyways! It probably would've spared me anger, but I hated the spoilers anyway. They fucking SUCKED!
Now that I think about it, Duncan returned AFTER Team Victory was decimated. Maybe that was the reason for it- to signal when he came back! Yet he stayed until the final five, despite attempting to get rid o him by some. And Alejandro....he had the easiest path to the end ever. Team Victory was NOT a hap of idiots, but I suppose paranoia was supposed to be their demise. With Al manipulating them and DJ's curse. STILL FUCKING SUCKS ASS!
If one person only could've done it, I think it ought to have been Bridgette. If two, her and Ezekiel. But NOPE! We need fucking Owen and Alejandro an Heather and DUNCAN at that merge. I mean, Noah? Who cares! He's just an Indian smart-aleck! (FUCK YOU, TDWT WRITERS.)

Yeah, Plank is more entertaining than Lightning. I'd rather watch WOOD rather than some blockhead who for a living, breathing human being has absolutely nothing to his name. That's how bad Lightning is.
I WANT the Bass vs. Gophers setup from TDI. Sure, the Bass were the underdogs, but it was a strong team with a strong chemistry that could still hold its own against the Gophers and they actually had plenty of victories, so for there to constantly be a pathetically weak team, let alone one that gets ANNIHILATED before the merge..........LAME!
Spoilers suck ass, don't they? I actually found out about Dawn's elimination because of spoilers. You can imagine how pissed I was.
And Zoey's elimination? Pffft. They spelled it out for us with her audition video. So much for subtlety, Fresh TV! You give away your goddamn ending months before the fucking thing airs!
Maybe it was, just paving the way for the horse's ass to return to the set while all the good characters of that team were left to lick their wounds. EPIC FAIL! 
DJ's curse was bullshit. And sadly ruined his character by making him a whiny coward.
Yeah, why eliminate Bridgette AGAIN? I mean fuck, she was in the Top 10 in TDI, she's NOT incompetent! And Ezekiel was reduced to one of the worst running gags ever conceived.
Yeah, who gives a fuck about any of those characters?
Though let's be fair, Noah's got a lot more going for him than the others for sure.

Lightning should have simply been "canon fodder", or what we usually refer to as a "throwaway character". That's all he should've been given as a contestant, edit-wise. But no, he was THAT FUCKING IMPORTANT to the damn plot.
Rooting for underdogs is one of the best things to do. For example; one of the reasons why the recent "Survivor" season was awesome was because one of the biggest underdogs in the game won in the end. They even went to every Tribal Council (in TD that would be a Campfire Ceremony) yet they managed to survive each one (like Lightning, except actually good). Cool, huh? Anyways, in TD the teams NEED balance; unless someone from the decimated team survives and makes it to the end like the recent Survivor winner.

I may have said this, but I thought Zoey was alluding to Jo before the show began. And then I was like "hey, she's golden". But THEN we had the elimination and then I said to myself, "WAIT A MINUTE! They fucking spelled it out for us since the beginning! Way to go, asshole Fresh TV." I was mad, but I was sure Cameron would win anyway. Even then, it was sooooooooooooo poorly setup.
TD logic is soooooooo lopsided; many people are too easily tricked into getting eliminated. Even someone smart like Cameron has been tricked so easily at times. And it's all for plot convenience- that way, no fucking explanation needed!
I hated that so much. DJ is NOT that at all, but again as above it was likely an excuse to plow through him for other characters we didn't want to see.
