This is a "what if" drawing.
What if Marge hadn`t got the message from her sisters that Homer was working at Gulp N`Blow and didn`t hear from him the last 3 months after he wrote the letter to her. This is just 2 weeks after Marge had read the letter from Homer and she was worried sick. She had all this bad thoughts of what had happend to him, maybe he was dead, or find another girl, moved away from Springfield? She was going crazy and her mother Jaqueline was very worried about Marge mostly because of the baby that was 3 months away. She calmed down her daughter by telling her that Homer was a good man and would come back to her. She was surten about this. Homer Simpson was not a bad man!
While they where talking Homer had been standing on the porch to lay the first payment he said he will give her. When he was going to bend down to lay it on the floor, he heard some voices from the open window at the porch. He reconized Marge voice and her mothers right away. Since Clancy had died 3 months ago they had been very close to eachother. Patty and Selma had been moving downtown in an apartment toghether. They couldn`t stand be home anymore after their fathers passing. Homer didn`t want anymore then to walk in and give Marge a big kiss and hug but he had made a promise to himself that he wasn`t coming home before he was a man. He missed to hold and thouch his wife and to thouch her pregnant belly and feel his sons kicks.

He standed their about 5 minutes and heard that Marge was crying hard.
Marge: "Why hasn`t he come back yet, mom?" I miss him so much!"
Jaqueline: "I don`t know sweety, but he will come back, he said so in the letter"
Marge: "I know but, maybe he have found someone else to love, and that`s why he wanted to leave me??" (Homer got shocked to hear that and said low to himself "no,no")
Jaqueline: "No sweety, I know he isn`t that type of guy. I see that he love you so much and take care of you. He will send you the money soon to the baby. I know he will."
Marge: "I hope you are right mom!. And that he will come back before our son gets born."
Jaqueline:"I know he will sweety, don`t worry about it, trust me he will!"

Without noticing it tears had been formed in his eyes and felt down his cheeks. But Homer didn`t want to og inside mostly because he felt terrible to not could stay there and to disepoint Marge again by just have a fastfood job. In a way he didn`t diserve her. She was to beautiful and smart and she diserved a man that can give her a propper life with a house and a real good job. But he was madly in love with her, he had never thought that he could love a woman so much. But one day he would be back and stay by Marges side when their son gets born!
