I agree, too; I get a little tired of the fetish stories that are great with art and description, but don't do much in making the characters likable. I feel like my illustrated stories suffer a bit from this, but the next one will be a lot better.
This has been my plan all along; to make a story where people care for Emily because of her turmoil, respect Daren for his love of Emily, and despise Downfall for what she has done. And now that I've set up those connections with the audience, I can begin to run with it in the third part! I needed this part to set up the connections, and from the looks of it, I accomplished that goal. Thanks again for your supportive comment, I really couldn't be any happier.Β
