My first post in a very long time, let's hope for the best, I had these drawings resting for a while but the hard part was to write down their story XD

Name: Jester

Age: Mid-twenties in appearance.

Height: 168 cm

Gender: Male

Species: Banette

Hometown: Floaroma Town

Birthdate: November 3

Nature: Jolly

Personality: Jester is the kind of guy that always seems to be happy, he can be seen with a big smile most of the time. The banette generally tries to maintain a good mood and a positive attitude at all times, there's really very little that that can upset the ghost, in his own words "you eventually get used to the ups and downs of life". He finds joy in the smallest things, he is a simple guy with simple tastes and the will to experience and know as much as he can while he is in this world.

Moveset: Phantom Force, Curse, Shadow Ball, Shadow Sneak.

History: It may be hard to pinpoint where Jester's history starts, he may not be as old as many other ghosts but he is certainly old enough to keep exact numbers to himself. The ghost is no stranger to moving to new places, throughout his lifetime he has live in a couple of towns and cities, at least long enough to decide to move to another place and as he sais "experience new things".This eventually brought him to Floaroma Town, a place he wasn't precisely received with open arms due to his shady appearance and weird jolly demeanor

Despite this, Jester decided to set living in a small town where he became the town's handyman, you needed someone to fix your roof for cheap? Jester would help you, you lost your wallet at the forest? call the banette. The ghost managed to earn the trust of the people and become part of their small community, which eventually led him to work as a barman for a Marowak named Amanda, a thought but caring woman with a very young son named Damian.

Just as Jester, Amanda was relatively new to the town but found a good friend on the ghost, both of them came to trust each other greatly and when one was in trouble the other never hesitate to jump in and help to the point where it seemed like they had known each other for far longer, Damian and Amanda became like a family for Jester. For quite some years life went well for the banette and his new found friends, but if Jester had learned something is that change is a universal constant and change can be very unexpected.

Amanda felt ill of a mysterious disease, she passed away not long after, leaving behind Damian. The young cubone, not wanting to be taken away and finding familiarity with the ghost wanted Jester to stay with him.

Jester became Damian's legal tutor not long after since the cubone didn't have any known family that could take him, for a couple of years they stayed at Floaroma Town until Jester, being the inexperienced father figure he was, came to the conclusion that the best way to help Damian move on and regain some security was to give him a change of environment where he could meet and experience new things like the ghost had done many times in the past.

It was with this idea in mind that Jester and Damian traveled to a new town in hopes to be able to start over and become the figure Damian needed in his life.

Mega Evolution

Mega Ability: Cursed Body.

Physical Changes: Jester's supernatural energy increases immensely to the point of temporarily tearing the fabric on his body. His ghost attacks are empowered with his cursing abilities being specially stronger. His control over shadows also increases to the point he is able to cover his surrounding area in a thick cloud of darkness and mold it even easier to any shape his mind can come up with.

Mental Changes: Jester finds himself in constant paint during this transofrmation, despite his inner soul becoming more solid and stable it still puts a lot of stress as his fabric tears apart and is unable to protect and hold it together during the Mega state. His attitude also regresses to his more feral, chaotic, and mischievous side making him a bit unpredictable.

Other: Jester's fabric is slowly restored back to its previous state as the transformation fades away, after the transformation he has to rest for a few days due to the amount his stress and mind is put into. He would also give cleansings to those who were near him during the transofrmation due to the chance of them getting cursed.

Extras:
The name "Jester" is one he chose for himself a long time ago.
His favorite hobby is plushie fabrication.
He loves working on crafts and gifts.
He got his right eye "scar" when he was haunting and old cabin in a confrontation with an invader.
The mega stone he has was given to him by Damian's mom, he has only used it twice by now.
Gods help whoever dare bring harm to Damian.
