Watercolor of the Dark World/Unlit World in Yume Nikki.I'm not sure if I did the ghost right as I didn't have any reference when I drew it and haven't found time to play since then. TTuTT
I find this ghost kind of sympathic. I'm always happy to have him arround (it's less lonely, I guess?).

For a sec I was like "this look like her drawings. who drew this." and then I looked down and for like 0.1sec I was like "chocoblanc, who dat?"
The ghost is cute. I always wondered; what's the goal of that game? What do the player does inside, what do they have to obtain?

And I'm a little late, this guy already answered your question. It's collecting effects but really travelling through the worlds and discovering them. The game also leave a lot to interpretation. ^^ It's just really great! yuy

The goal, if you can call it that, is to find all the abilities (some useful, some not so much) that are strewn across the dream world.
What makes the game great is the adventure you have finding those abilities.
