Exactly what happens to me lol. All these pretty drawings in the "notes" column of my math notetakingbook. And when they borrowed it...

Me: Well.... *doesn't know how to explain concept of anime and manga art*

other than the few friends i have from high school, i've only met like 2 other people who like anime. and 1 of em was a international student from china so it took me a while to try explaining wat anime was, then finally she started describing a cartoon where a boi had a red shirt and a hat lol ONE PIECE

lol like since this is a huge college in a cornfield, not many people have an affinity toward anime XP so they just stare o____o and go "is that pokemon?"
