I have been drawing this spiky purple fantasy cat every two years since 2005. Leaning into a more monstrous, weasel-like shape for the 2022(-ish) iteration.

Fun fact: The original 2005 version was, I believe, the first thing I ever posted to DeviantArt. Up until then my digital artwork consisted entirely of Neopets, which I feared was "baby stuff" that the older cooler DA users would laugh at me for drawing. I knew there were many cool fantasy/animal/dragon artists on DA and wanted to show that I was a very grown up and mature 15 year old by drawing an original fantasy animal of my own, decked out with the finest star stamp brushes and dodge and burn smudge tool fur that Adobe Photoshop 7 could offer.
