Design notes:

-The gem on his forehead is cracked in the "present" setting, but whole in the "past". He also cannot do magic in the "present" where his gem is cracked.
-In the "present" he tends to look more tired and disheveled, and also uses a cane sometimes
-Missing all back teeth on the right side of his mouth
-It's not super visible on this ref, but the fur on his lower neck, chest, and especially elbows is longer and shaggier than the rest of his body.
-Wears many different outfits, don't feel like you need to only stick to the ones shown
