If you ignore all the bad parts--totaling his only long-term relationship , giving himself lifelong nerve damage, getting addicted to painkillers , ruining his career and finances and reputation and going down in history as a Very Evil Dude including the part where he may have doomed the entire world --then yeah he's done pretty well for himself I suppose.
