I KNOW RIGHT! If that show is really there to discourage teen pregnancy, they're not doing a great job. I mean... where's the struggle? I DON'T SEE IT. I JUST LAUGH. And wonder why the parents take so much crap from their daughter. :v

Heck, haven't even played the game, seen some previews, a cutscene or two and read about it, but the pair STILL bugs me! Personally, when I saw more and more about the game, I didn't think there was, let alone should have any romance! And if there was, it'd have been Lightning and Snow! Yes it's the cliche m & f lead pairing, BUT it wouldn't have been vanilla flavored like most of the others. Serah and Snow...that's vanilla in my opinion...and looks wrong....

Well, I'm still at the beginning of the game but the romance between Serah and Snow isn't shown that often so when you remember that they're engaged, you think "WHAT WHEN HOW?" Maybe if there was a little background info on their relationship, it would seem more believable. But the engagement just seemed too sudden.

And you never know! Light/Snow could develop! But there's a good chance it won't. I'm sorry. ):

Very very true. Maybe things would be a little better if Serah and Snow's relationship didn't exist. Lightning didn't even like Snow with Serah and she had a good reason on why she didn't.

Exactly. Not every story needs romance anyway...sometimes it's just better without it. Just the basic storyline of FFXIII should tell you no romance is needed.
