Aw!  This is beautiful, dear! I love the representation of these two becoming one in this image! It's so striking and significant!   I feel there could be so many interpretations on this piece too!  Perhaps this could be what Anzu was feeling during the Doma/Waking the Dragons arc, when Yami was so lost in his grief and only Anzu was at his side at one point.  Or perhaps this was after Yami had gone to the afterlife, and he's only a memory now, yet one that she hopes to cherish forever.  Like some of your other works, I like how Anzu seems to be supporting for Yami, holding him up in a sense, so that he doesn't always have to be the strong one. I think that's especially clear with his expression, seemingly surrendering to her and becoming at ease.  In truth, I never get tired of your beautiful illustrations, my friend! Especially with this pairing!  Nicely done!

Everything he's been through, he is allowed to have a moment to just be weak.  Anzu's caught him covered until he's ready to face everything again.

It's definitely a good idea to have them switch positions here. Usually we see Anzu seeking Atem's protection, but you decided to give him the role this time. I really like how their expressions turned out. Especially Atem. He looks weak and absolutely exhausted. It's obvious that he needs a break now, so he is lucky to have someone as sweet and kind as Anzu at his side. I also love the pattern in her skirt and in Atem's jacket. ♥

Very cute picture. Love how Anzu looks so worried here and that Atem shows his weak side. It's refreshing to see Atem leaning towards her. Really cute.
