Anime scene remaking time!Wanted to keep the original palette color, but resisting the temptation to customize a little Atemβs hair was way too hard, haha.

This one is very nice dear! I always enjoy seeing the characters in your style, and I remember how the emotions were running high in this scene!Β I can see the torment in Yami's face, as well as the genuine concern that Anzu had for him during his struggles with his guilt.Β I guess this was as close to Revolutionshipping as we were going to get, but I found their intereactions during this storyline interesting at least.Β I like how flowy their hair looks, and you can almost feel the movement from standing on the train!Β Lovely job, my friend!

Mmmh, I don't really think Yuugi is Atem's reincarnation. They've got similarities, true, but I personally find the bond between them more interesting if the two are different individuals. But either way, Anzu's definitley better off with Atem, yeah~Β

I know. This only happened in the 4kids dubbed version though. In the original series, Ishizu says insteadΒ the vessel of the Pharaoh's soul must be equally strong. Yugi may have been small at first, but after carrying the Pharaoh's soul for so long, he's become strong. Guess that gives us the freedom to choose whichever version pleases us the most.
But I agree what Yuugi and Atem are to each other is pretty much complicated. My best guess is that the Puzzle, whose power stems from unity, is the one to give them that special spiritual bond of theirs. Two souls that work almost like one, shared thoughts and feelings, well, unity. Complex and yet beautiful. β₯

Maybe the hairstyles and other similarities were just meant to emphasize on their smilitudes and yet glaring differences at the same time? Symbols of sorts. I have way too much difficulties in imagining Ryou as the reincarnation of the Thief king/Zork

Can believe that. I read some fics where Ryou acts like a cold-blooded and creepy psychopath and it sounded all too realistic for his character indeed. 
That pic was actually asked by someone else ^^. I'm more into pairing Shizuka with the regular Malik though she being with the darker alter ego seems quite intriguing. Mmh :3

Mmmh, I believe Anzu's hair is normally shoulder-lenght. It keeps changing sizes throughout episodes, depending on the animator, but I prefer to keep it this way.Β
