Your backgrounds are so cool. I don't think the owl clashes with the background at all. xD I think it just brings out it's colors more. Love your coloring.

Oh goodness goodness goodness! This is amazing! First of all the Owl (I'll call it owl for now) looks lovely, I love its eyes, looks thoughtful hm? And the neckfluff looks great, I'm loving the swirliness of it. The background is awesome too, I like the subtle stars at the top of the sky.

I love the spotted shading too!
