Description
This was done for an OpenCanvas 4 plus review for ImagineFX issue 5. After being stuck in a Painter rut, I was completely blown away by OC. It's infinitely cheaper, easy to download/install and actually produces better results than Painter. The tragedy is that just after I wrote this review I switched over to Mac for which OC isn't compatible >_< (unless I figure out how to get Bootcamp working).Related content

would you be so kind as to message me with an in depth comparison between painter and corel? I am very interested, but am still unsure which program. Corel 12, or Open Canvas. I want to start doing paint style artwork that you are now seeing become mainstream in comics and in RPG books. Can you help me?

Hi! Nice drawing!
You can use a windows emulator like Wine to use windows applications on other OS. Though I haven't really tried using OpenCanvas nor tried using Wine on a Mac, it worked well for playing Windows games on my sis' Linux.

oo...i'll keep my eyes peeled for open canvas!
this looks like a strong composition - lots of energy and the colours complement each other well
altho the expression of the girl in front seems a little forced or doll-like? they both seem to have cheeks that are a bit puffed out...
but other than that i think this page really holds together well!
