Hmm, let me think. Taking out of the fact that I'm a hardcore Dip fan, which means Damien or Pip cannot be paired with another person...
I can see it work because I can the basis of their relationship similar to Dip. The cold, insensitive person warming up to the sweet little Pippin. Pip's cheerful personality can make a good balance for 'Tophe's pessimistic one, and I don't see Pip ever getting annoyed by Ze Mole's negativity.
It could work.
If Tophe can survive the fiery flame of Hell that is Damien's wrath. Dx

Well, I see it like this, Pip hates French people, and I suppose the reaction would be quite the same for Christophe. So I'd find it interesting... It'd be like, a love hate relationship between the weak uke and the strong seme. XDD
Thoough, after warming up to Pip, and Pip realizing that Christophe ain't THAT bad, it'd be a cute relationship... kinda...? XD

Damien/Pip/Kenny was in my head for WEEKS. O_O Well, it was mostly Damien and Kenny fighting over Pip and Damien kept killing Kenny but then Pip started to think that was wrong and... I always have little things floating in my head. XD
