Description
A step by step (by step by step by step by step...) tutorial of how I colour things. For all the nice people out there who want to know
and especially to Hamasutaaoni [link] 
who said she'd kill me if I didn't make one and with whom I have such deep conversations- it's really unbelievable.So, I submitted it again because it didn't work the first time. I just bypassed the preview image this time. Hope it works now. Sorry for the quite long wait inbetween, by the way, but I was ill.
Anyway, here you go; hope you enjoy it!
And I'm very, very, VERY sorry for the size. 
Edit: Me in my infinite stupidity simply forgot to change the file from .psd to something deviantart can handle. Stupid me.

Mhh... I still don't get, how you get the background off of the lineart (step 2)!! That's my biggest problem right now, so would you mind helping me?

I usually click on the background layer with the lineart, then go to the top menu,
select "Layer" ---> New Layer ------> "Layer from Background". Once you've done that a window will pop up saying: "New Layer" (and it will have "Layer 0" as the name. You can leave it with that name or change it). Set this new layer to "Multiply" and move it above all of the other layers. That way you can paint under it and have the lines still show. ^_^ I use photoshop elements 5.0 so it should work for all other photoshop versions. (I'm pretty sure anyways).

Lol- The only thing, for all this time, that has stuck me in colourless sketches was that I didn't know exactly how ya colour in photoshop! BUT NOW!!!
