I needed something easy to do, cos all my current work has anatomy issues *sigh*, so I decided to colour one of my old sketch stuff. This pic was part of my Df sketch dump.Background fails but otherwise I think I did alright for a super fast colouring job.
Do you ever look at your old stuff and just get blown away by your improvement? It's kind of pleasing to know that each picture has something better in it.

Very nicely done for something without line-art. The background does need some work, true, but the details on her clothes and jewelry are very well done. You've also managed to acquire a kind of softness for her hair, and added just a touch of realism to her face, both of which I appreciate.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment! It's always good to know how other people see the stuff I draw. Where you see a softness in hair, I just see a part that needs more work cos it's too shabby. So thank you!
As for the realism, well I'm hoping to draw a lot of the AE characters. There are a lot of awesome ones that need fan art.
