Description So I was invited to this group called #Clan-Toreador and I thought it was time I submitted something... But since I'm damaged, and can't really draw people that aren't character (and there aren't really that inspiring toreadors in our game) I decided to do some self-photography... Since you know, apparently I am one of them wannabe vampire people. You didn't know?

Existential crises and pale skin is hot as hell.

And that's it!

Since someone (`Helewidis and ~jesperi ) wanted a tutorial on how I did this, you can find it here: [link]

This is quite an amazing shot, the attention to detail is impecable. I especially adore the blood red hair, even with the absence of dripping blood this really exudes the vampire theme. It has sensuality, fierceness and if you look at the eyes, the realistic hunger for blood. the eyes, very dark and deep, it is like there is nothing but darkness beneath them, just empty abyss.. and of course the gorgeous model sporting the look does not hurt

Choiseul In reply to HeroRising [2010-06-01 00:45:52 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! I always preferred when you could tell someone was a vampire without going fangs and blood all over the place, so your comment makes me very happy!

HeroRising In reply to Choiseul [2010-06-01 04:34:52 +0000 UTC]

I agree... if you have to put the fangs and the blood and ehem, dracula-like cape, it's almost a give away. But this is how you make a photography, telling a thousand words per minute without actually telling it

That's good, I mean, have you seen the system for werewolves in Vampire? They're even more dangerous than they are in Werewolf!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-16 19:41:31 +0000 UTC]

I know. But on the other side when you create a werewolf which will have stats which can be "convert" from Werewolf to Vampire (you know, double physical stats for crinos form) it will be one of the weakest warriors in the sept

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-17 09:55:21 +0000 UTC]

Say what you will, I avoid werewolves like I would the plague Aggravated damage = No fun

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-17 11:57:08 +0000 UTC]

Well, it depends how good are you when dealing with werewolfs. I saw a vampire who "possesed" 10 7 feet tall puppies

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-17 18:19:30 +0000 UTC]

Possession isn't supposed to work on anyone but mortals though, otherwise I'd be a lot more keen on getting that last dot of dominate.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-18 00:34:47 +0000 UTC]

This vampire was very skilled in presence not domination. And of course there are always crossover rules ]:->

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-20 23:57:33 +0000 UTC]

Well, it's usually the crossover rules that even has rules for creatures other than the one in question and mortals, isn't it? Must have been a 6+ level presence personally created discipline or one hidden in one of the many smaller vampire books there is. Wouldn't be odd as you are allowed to create your own disiplines once you hit 6 or higher. (If I'm giving you information you already have, I'm sorry, since you are a werewolf fan I just assume that you know more about werewolf than you do vampire, sort of like werewolf and changeling are the two bigger ones that I know the least about in the world of darkness, and therefor often can need some more information if brushing upon anything but the basics.)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-21 05:51:56 +0000 UTC]

I knew this, but the Vampire I saw has Presence 4 and 3 Storytellers allow him to control werewolfs. So I assume that it is possible. And yes, I know more about werewolfs than vampires, but it doesn't stop me from beeing a vampire storyteller

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-21 13:18:31 +0000 UTC]

But Presence four is summon, not possession? o.O
Summon by the way, is a bitch.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-21 19:04:00 +0000 UTC]

Right. But the storytellers accept his idea of coming into town with furry bodyguards. But maybe they done it just for fun

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-21 20:09:37 +0000 UTC]

What can I say, I just follow the disciplines
We do a lot of things for fun too though. Have you never wondered how the hell my character got cat ears? ... She doesn't hang in elysium anymore : (

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-21 22:45:09 +0000 UTC]

Why? Are you a Gangrel or you met a Tzimisce ? If you are a Gangrel then the most interesting idea for a deformation I've ever saw is here:

[link]

And if you met Tzimisce it could treated you worse. 6 years ago, when my Tzimisce wanted to punish one guy who offended him he moved his G-point (yes we have it too) to his throat. And feeding became a pleasure for him ]:->. Of course he have to forget any meal which is hot or cold (G-point is very sensitive). My players call it "the most fiendish idea we ever heard of" . I considered also reversing his digestive system to multiply the effect, but he didn't live long enough. He commited suicide, taking away all the fun . Player who played that character doesn't want to play with me even now

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-21 23:32:28 +0000 UTC]

I'm a Ventrue... And I met perverted technocrats. (I might add that it was at seven am, my GM likes catgirls, and my fellow player and actual Gangrel sat and made "make her a hot catgirl"-jokes for over an hour.)

... So nowadays she is a perfect gangrel spy, people don't even wonder what clan she is : ( She is ashamed.

Haha, that looks like some sort of kinky wereshark XD

I've met Tzimisce... But thankfully that was when our GM allowed my group to get a flamethrower as a convention special. Everybody but me got into rΓΆtschrek XD Only rolls I ever succeed in either of the games. Willpower and courage rolls.

My ex LOVED the Tzimisce though, so I used to get to hear a lot of weird ass ideas but I haven't heard that one. We had heated discussions on wether or not Camarilla or Sabbat was superior. It was pretty hot.

Wow. Long comment.
But in general, all groups have their odd thing that the GM decides upon We have catgirls and genderswapping specials, you have super presence XD (Some male character gets pretty damn hot as chicks o.O And many girls very creepy as guys)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-22 05:55:01 +0000 UTC]

, ok, you have a pretty bunch of crazies too .

I don't favor any clan or tribe, I concentrate on making the world as ugly as it can be. Like one of my players said: "I've got more stress during your plays than in real life". But still they keep coming. Now I've got three groups:
1) A pack of werewolfs in USA, in 1992 (I like to set my "modern" settings a little in the past, especially for werewolf - in Umbra the time is different).
2) Group of (for now) mortals in Middle Age France
3) Bunch of mortals (for now) in Warsaw in the mid 90's.

And one day their characters can meet each other. The third group is a of every male storyteller (5 girls, and 2 others wanna join). But it's a hell as well cause 4 of them are psychology students

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-22 17:49:21 +0000 UTC]

It's hard to not favor all of them to me, because they all have their charm, so I both love and hate every single clan and tradition.
I usually just play a few years back, but that's probably since I'm so young, it's hard for me to remember anything about the ninetees except Ace of Base and the Spice Girls.
Which are you a player in and which a GM?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-22 18:10:59 +0000 UTC]

I'm a storyteller for all three groups. My favourite Storyteller died few years ago, and I have high requirements for gamemasters so I can comfortably play with only one GM. He is a Star Wars GM. But I don't like the attitude of his players so we cannot play together . But that's ok with me. I like "kicking" players. But they like it .

I use wikipedia and google when I "travel through time and space" preparing my stories, so it's not so hard for me.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-22 18:30:28 +0000 UTC]

I'm sorry to hear that.
I only played star wars once at a convention, it was pretty funny.
What's wrong with their attitude?

Biggest problem with the 90's to me must be the fashion though

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-23 04:58:41 +0000 UTC]

Well, better for him. When both your parents are alcoholic, as well as two of your four sisters, the third sister is mentally disabled death is welcomed. But you can be also the best Storyteller in the world with background like that. He was also very sick.
There's a Jedi Force Power called Concentration. It allows you to use more dice on ONE SINGLE action. But these players think that when they say "I use concentration" it will be enough, and this bonus will last for a while. The problem is that in one on Star Wars books is a scene when one of the Jedi Council remove toxins from Mon Mothma's body, concentrating on each single part of the poison. When I try to told them about it they saind that they don't want to play with me cause I can't play well. And their tone was "I know better". So I decided to turn my back to them.
Aaaaa. I was a teenager in the 90's so I remember the fashion.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-04-26 00:34:31 +0000 UTC]

I'm not sure if I agree, but it was his decision after all and I didn't know him, so I don't really have to agree. *cough* Hard to answer in a socially correct way to that.

You should have had the GM (Or ST if you so wish) tell them that it doesn't work like that. And seriously, if I got a penny for every time my roleplaying has been critiqued by someone that plays an albino half vampire half unicorn with sparkly eyes and tragically dead parents (or whatever, it's all the same to me) I'd be freaking rich by now. Makes you wonder why I ever even tried to be diplomatic when people plain sucked (I am nice sometimes, I promise )

I remember it too, but that's mostly because I remember how things looked betetr than I remember anything else And you do not forget the Spice Girls.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

HeartofGaia In reply to Choiseul [2010-04-26 17:00:46 +0000 UTC]

Well, the only good answer it "yes, I agree "

That GM really like to run Star Wars, so it wasn't to hard to convince him that fun is the most important thing. And, as I was the only one to complain, he chose the group's way. But I must admit that, when they played and I was a GM, they didn't want another play but the first one . And I belive that you are nice... sometimes .

I choose 90's also because whe play preludes during the last years of my favourite 80's . And my preludes usually lasts for several years before characters even reach their First Change/Embrace/Awakening (at least 6 months of playing every week). Of course they have to survive first . I simply care about details

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Choiseul In reply to HeartofGaia [2010-05-01 02:24:24 +0000 UTC]

But that would be a lie!

Hey, since you let people possess each other with presence you can't really judge him, can you
And I am totally nice. Can't you see the pictures? That's the face of a nice person.
